Cooper coach Justin Holthaus started the following lineup: 6-1 Sr. Logan Palmer, 6-0 Fr. 6-0 Haylee Noel, 6-1 Sr. Bella Deere, 5-10 Sr. Maleah Alexander, and 5-11 Sr. Liz Freihofer. Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir countered with 6-0 Jr. ZaKiyah Johnson, 5-10 Jr. Morgan Frey, 5-9 Sr. Emi-Lee Howe, 5-8 Sr. Claire Russell, and 5-10 Sr, Reagan Bender.

Cooper led 30-29 at halftime and only trailed 37-35 after three quarters before Sacred Heart pulled away late for a 54-42 victory. There were 11 lead changes and three ties in this game. Sacred Heart Academy shot 44.4% from the field including seven of 13 from the three point line. The Valkyries connected on 15 of 28 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 13 Cooper turnovers. Cooper shot 32% from the field including five of 18 from beyond the arc. The Jaguars connected on five of nine free throws, pulled down 22 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 17 Sacred Heart turnovers.

ZaKiyah Johnson led Sacred Heart Academy with 15 points including three three point baskets, six rebounds, and three assists. Reagan Bender added 14 points including three three point basketsnine rebounds, and two assists. 6-3 Sr. Angelina Pelayo recorded 11 points, nine rebounds, and two blocked shots. 5-4 Fr. Amirah Jordan chipped in with seven points and three assists.

Logan Palmer led Cooper with 14 points, four rebounds, and two steals. Bella Deere added nine points, three rebounds, and two blocked shots. Liz Freihofer recorded seven points, three rebounds, four assists, and two blocked shots. Haylee Noel pulled down seven rebounds.
