Montgomery County coach Dustin High started the following lineup: 5-11 Fr. Baylee Warner, 5-7 Sr. Reaghan Oney, 5-10 Sr, Shaelynn Harris, 5-4 Fr, Sophie Fouch, and 5-7 Sr, Hayden Barrier. Henry Clay coach Ashley Garrard countered with 5-8 Sr. Lydia Van Metre, 5-8 Sr. Emily Johnson, 5-10 Sr. Elizabeth Nelson, 5-3 Jr. Atiyanna Sutton, and 5-6 Sr. Timarri Miller.
Henry Clay defeated Montgomery County by the score of 70-50. Henry Clay shot 51% from the field including 11 of 18 from the three point line. The Lady Blue Devils connected on seven of 10 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 25 points off 18 Montgomery County turnovers. Montgomery County shot 37% from the field including four of 13 from beyond the arc. The Lady Indians connected on 12 of 18 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 16 Henry Clay turnovers.
Emily Johnson led Henry Clay with 17 points including three three point baskets, four rebounds, three assists, and three steals. Lydia Van Meter added 15 points including three three point baskets, two assists, and three steals. 5-9 Sr. Allison Stone recorded nine points, three rebounds, and two assists. Elizabeth Nelson chipped in with eight points, five rebounds, and six steals. Timarri Miller recorded eight points. Ariyanna Sutton added seven points, seven rebounds, and eight assists. 5-5 7th Grade Tamia Waide chipped in with six points on two three point baskets.
Hayden Barrier led Montgomery County with 29 points including four three point baskets, three rebounds, and three steals. 6-1 Jr. Savannah Jarvis added nine points, six rebounds, two blocked shots, and two steals. Sophie Fouch recorded four points, six rebounds, and two assists. Reaghan Oney chipped in with four points, four rebounds, and three assists.
