:exington Catholic coach Brandon Salsman started the following lineup: 6-5 Sr. Tyler Doyle, 6-4 Sr. Rowan Williams, 6-7 Sr. Miller Williams, 6-0 Sr, John Reinhart, and 6-3 Sr. Brody Turner. Tates Creek coach Jarrod Gay Sr. countered with 6-3 Sr. Braylon Hinton, 5-10 So. Stephen Franklin, 6-6 Jr. Latrell Jones-Miller, 5-7 Sr. Jamal Ratchford, and 5-9 Jr. Dawson Garth.

Lexington Catholic led 35-28 at halftime but outscored Tates Creek 29-8 in the third quarter on their way to an 83-57 victory. Lexington Catholic shot 48.6% from the field including five of 18 from the three point line. The Knights connected on six of 11 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 31 points off 22 Tates Creek turnovers. Tates Creek shot 45.3% from the field including six of 17 from beyond the arc. The Commodores connected on three of nine free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored nine points off eight Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Rowan Williams led Lexington Catholic with 20 points, 11 rebounds, four assists, and four steals. John Reinhart added 12 points including two three point baskets and three steals. Tyler Doyle recorded eight points, two rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Brody Turner chipped in with eight points, four assists, and two steals. 6-4 Sr. Owen Kennedy added seven points and five rebounds.

Stephen Franklin led Tates Creek with 13 points, five rebounds, and two assists. Dawson Garth added 13 points, four rebounds, and two assists. Jamal Ratchford recorded eight points including two three point baskets and two rebounds. Latrell Jones-Miller chipped in with five points and seven rebounds.
