Lafayette coach Allison Denton started the following lineup: 5-10 Jr. Tess Nelson, 5-8 Jr. Belle Combs, 5-7 Sr. Jackie Tishibangi, 5-5 So. Anna Clay Denton, and 5-5 Jr. Abbey Popham. Danville coach Judie Mason countered with 5-6 Jr. Jazelynn Doneghy, 5-6 Jr. Nemeah Jackson, 5-7 So. Tayvionna Caldwell, 5-4 Jr. Alayah Quisenberry, and 5-6 Jr. Myla Turner.

Danville trailed 34-28 at halftime but outscored Lafayette 23-7 in the third quarter on their way to a 63-59 victory. Danville shot 34.9% from the field including two of 22 from the three point line. The Lady Admirals connected on 17 of 28 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 32 points off 29 Lafayette turnovers. Lafayette shot 42.3% from the field including five of 18 from beyond the arc. The Lady Generals connected on 10 of 15 free throws, pulled down 45 rebounds, and scored nine points off eight Danville tirnovers.

Myla Turner led Danville with 26 points including nine of 14 free throws, seven rebounds, and two steals. Alayah Quisenberry added 18 points including five of eight free throws, three rebounds, two assists, and five steals. Jazelynn Doneghy recorded six points, six rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Tayvionna Caldwell chipped in with four points and six rebounds.

Tess Nelson led Lafayette with 12 points and four rebounds. Abbey Popham added 12 points including two three point baskets and two assists. Belle Combs recorded nine points and nine rebounds. Jackie Tishbangi chipped in with six points and four rebounds. Anna Clay Denton added three points, seven rebounds, and six assists. 5-10 Sr. Narrah Wilson recorded four points and nine rebounds.
