North Laurel coach Nate Valentine started the following lineup: 6-4 Fr. Joe Smith, 6-3 So. Jordan Rawlings, 6-7 So. Reece Davidson, 6-1 Fr, Cooper Elza, and 6-2 Sr. Brody Brock. Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown countered with 6-4 So. Jackson Stephan, 6-2 Sr. Isaiah Stephan, 6-5Jr. Hassan Bush, 6-1 Jr. AJ Dixon, and 6-0 Jr. Kayson Brown.

Henry Clay trailed 34-28 at halftime but rallied to defeat North Laurel by the score of 64-62. There were two lead changes and three ties in the game. Henry Clay shot 44.2% from the field including seven of 24 from the three point line. The Blue Devils connected on 11 of 11 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored two points off five North Laurel turnovers. North Laurel shot 42.9% from the field including 12 of 31 from beyond the arc. The Jaguars connected on eight of 10 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored eight points off six Henry Clay turnovers.

Hassan Bush led Henry Clay with 19 points on eight of nine from the field and three of three free throws, nine rebounds, and three assists. Kayson Brown added 17 points including three three point baskets, four of four free throws, five rebounds, and six assists. Isaiah Stephan recorded 11 points including three three point baskets and three rebounds. AJ Dixon chipped in with nine points, five rebounds, and four assists.

Reece Davidson led North Laurel with 19 points including two three point baskets, five rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Brody Brock added 12 points including two three point baskets, three rebounds, and three assists. Jordan Rawlings recorded 11 points including three three point baskets and two rebounds. 5-10 Jr. Kole Jervis chipped in with eight points including two three point baskets.
