Wa;ton-Verona coach Rianna Gayheart started the following lineup: 6-1 Jr. Braylin Terrell, 5-7 Fr. Elin Logue, 6-1 Fr. Ava Kendall, 5-4 Avery Geiman, and 5-5 8th Grade Nova Dryden. Scott County coach Steve Helton countered with 5-7 Jr. Maleiyah Moore, 5-7 Jr. Nmya Summers, 6-0 So. Kierstin Young, 5-7 So. Dymon Percell, and 5-7 Sr. Kaylen Perry.

Scott County defeated Walton-Verona by the score of 68-58. There were five lead changes and six ties in this game. Scott County shot 34.6% from the field including four of 23 from the three point line. The Lady Cardinals connected on eight of 14 free throws, pulled down 48 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 25 Walton-Verona turnovers. Walton-Verona shot 35.6% from the field including four of 17 from beyond the arc. The Lady Bearcats connected on 12 of 22 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored seven points off 15 Scott County turnovers.

Maleiyah Moore led Scott County with 21 points including three three point baskets, seven rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Kierstin Young added 19 points and 15 rebounds. Nmya Summers recorded nine points, six rebounds, and two assists. 5-6 So. Jessica Horn chipped in with six points and nine rebounds.

Elin Logue led Walton-Verona with 19 points including two three point baskets, five of five free throws, and eight rebounds. Braylin Terrell added 14 points, 11 rebounds, seven blocked shots, and two steals. 5-5 Jr. Campbell Christy recorded 14 points including two three point baskets, five rebounds, three assists, and three steals. Ava Kendall chipped in with seven points, 10 rebounds, and two assists.
