Graet Crossing started the following lineup: 5-11 Sr. Ava Schureman, 5-8 Sr. Olivia Tierney, 6-1 Jr. Kennedy Harrison, 5-5 Fr. Nicole Carr, and 5-6 Jr. Jaelle Henderson. Elizabethtown coach Amber Courtney countered with 5-7 8th Grade Maliah Courtney, 5-7 Jr. Harper Gregory, 5-9 So. Miyah Courtney, 5-3 Jr. Maebrie Cochran, and 5-5 Sr. Brooklyn Brown.
Elizabethtown trailed 32-28 at halftime but outscored Great Crossing 23-9 in the third quarter on their way to a 63-53 victory. There were five lead changes and four ties in this game. Elizabethtown shot 31.9% from the field including eight of 25 from the three point line. The Lady Panthers connected on 11 of 15 free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored eight points off 15 Great Crossing turnovers. Great Crossing shot 30.6% from the field including six of 21 from beyond the arc. The Lady Warhawks connected on nine of 12 free throws, pulled down 46 rebounds, and scored 13 points off nine Elizabethtown turnovers.
Miyah Courtney led Elizabethtown with 12 points including two three point baskets, six rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Maliah Courtney added 12 points including two three point baskets, six rebounds, and three steals. Maebrie Cochran recorded 12 points including two three point baskets, five rebounds, and two assists. 5-11 8th Grade Symone Headspeth chipped in with 11 points, nine rebounds, and three steals. Harper Gregory added seven points and four rebounds.
Olivia Tierney led Great Crossing with 12 points, nine rebounds, and two steals. Kennedy Harrison added 10 points and 12 rebounds. Jaelle Henderson recorded nine points and seven rebounds. Ava Schureman recorded nine points, 11 rebounds, six assists, and two blocked shots. Nicole Carr chipped in with seven points. 5-3 8th Grade Kendall Kearney added six points on two three point baskets, three rebounds, and two steals.
