Marshall County coach Sawyer Donohoo started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Orrin Phelps, 6-1 Jr. Tommy Robertson, 6-4 Fr. Matthew Langhi, 5-11 Jr. Alex Staples, and 6-0 So. Ryan Stokes. South Laurel coach Jeff Davis countered with 6-0 Jr. Joshua Steele, 5-8 So. Blaine Baker, 6-7 Jr. Jordan Mabe, 5-8 Fr. Jordan Steele, and 5-11 Jr. Colton Rawlings.

South Laurel defeated Marshall County by the score of 62-52. South Laurel utilized Jordan Mabe’s ability to handle the ball and get to the rim to their full advantage as he lived at the free throw line connecting on 14 of 21 free throws. South Laurel shot 51.6% from the field including two of six from the three point line. The Cardinals connected on 28 of 39 free throws, pulled down 22 free throws, and scored 145 points off 14 Marshall County turnovers. Marshall County shot 39.5% from the field including four of 16 from beyond the arc. They connected on 14 of 19 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored seven points off 11 South Laurel turnovers.

Jordan Mabe was named Tournament MVP and led South Laurel with 28 points, six rebounds, and two assists. Colton Rawlings added 12 points including seven of eight free throws, two blocked shots, and three steals. Jordan Steele recorded eight points including four of six free throws. Joshua Steele chipped in with seven [points, seven rebounds, and two blocked shots.

Matthew Langhi led Marshall County with 15 points including seven of eight free throws, six rebounds, and three blocked shots. Tommy Robertson added 12 points including three three point baskets and three of four from the free throw line. 6-4 Sr. Logan Parker recorded eight points and four rebounds.
