Great Crossing coach Steve Page started the following lineup: 6-7 Sr. Jeremiah Godfrey, 6-5 Jr. Vince Dawson III. 7-1 Jr. Malachi Moreno, 5-9 Jr. Junius Burrell, and 6-4 Jr. Gage Richardson. Bishop O’Connell coach Joe Wootten countered with 6-7 Sr. Jadyn Harris, 6-6 Sr. Bryson Tucker, 6-8 Sr. Wyatt Norton, 6-5 Jr. Shane Lincoln, and 6-5 Sr. AJ Swinton.

Bishop O’Connell defeated Great Crossing 77-74 in double overtime in a game destined to be remembered as a classic. Ther eree 10 ties and lead changes in this game that were highlighted by a 13-2 long by Bishop O’Connell and an 18-2 run by Great Crossing. Great Crossing trailed 28-14 in the second period and 34-25 at halftime. Bishop O’Connell shot 44.8% from the field including eight of 19 from the three point line. The Knights connected on nine of 13 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 18 Great Crossing turnovers. Great Crossing shot 50% from the field including eight of 14 from beyond the arc. The Warhawks connected on eight of 12 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored four points off eight Bishop O’Connell turnovers.

Bryson Tucker led Bishop O’Connell with 27 points including five three point baskets, four rebounds, and two steals. Wyatt Norton added 21 points including two three point baskets, and 11 rebounds. AJ Swinton recorded 10 points, two rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Jadyn Harris chipped in with eight points, five rebounds, seven assists, and two steals. 6-3 Jr. Aiden Culker added seven points.

Malachi Moreno led Great Crossing with 24 points, 25 rebounds, three assists, and three blocked shots. Jeremiah Godfrey added 19 points including three three point baskets, and four rebounds. Vince Dawson III recorded 17 points including two three point baskets, five rebounds, six assists, and three steals. Junius Burrell chipped in with six points and seven assists. Gage Richardson added six points on two three point baskets and four assists.
