Cooper coach tim Sullivan started the following lineup: 6-4 Jr. Isaiah Johnson, 6-3 Jr. Jaiden Combs, 6-6 Sr. Shaun Pouncy, 5-10 Sr. Evan Blackburn, and 5-10 Jr. Yamil Rondon. DeSales coach Damien Andersen countered with 6-3 Sr. Logan Tharp, 6-2 Jr. Prince Kahnplaye, 6-6 Sr. William Gibson, 6-0 Sr. Landon Thompson, and 6-0 Se. Damone King.
DeSales defeated Cooper by the score of 61-52. The score was tied once and there were six lead changes in the game. DeSales shot 48.9% from the field including one of 10 from the three point line. The Colts connected on 16 of 21 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored eight points off 11 Cooper turnovers. Cooper shot 36% from the field including four of 14 from beyond the arc. The Jaguars connected on 12 of 17 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored eight points off 13 DeSales turnovers.
Damone King led DeSales with 21 points including seven of seven free throws, six rebounds, and four assists. Logan Tharp added 14 points, four rebounds, and four steals. 6-1 Sr. Brady Cummins recorded 13 points including four of four free throws, and six rebounds. William Gibson chipped in with seven points, six rebounds, and four assists.
Jaiden Combs led Cooper with 11 points and two steals. 6-3 Jr. Chris Rodriguez added seven points and five rebounds. Yamil Rondon recorded seven points including five of six free throws, four assists, and three steals. Isaiah Johnson chipped in with six points and eight rebounds. Shaun Pouncy added six points and three rebounds. Evan Blackburn recorded six points on two three point baskets and two steals.
