Frederick Douglass started the following lineup: 6-2 So. Terry Cayson, 6-1 So. Travis Jones, 6-5 So. Nate Coen, 5-8 Jr. Christopher Wright, and 5-10 Fr. Dakari Talbert. (DeMarcus Surratt is still out with illness. Aveion Chenault, Armelo Boone, and Logan Busson were held out today). Woodford County coach Jaron Brown countered with 6-2 Jr. Jaunte Jenkins, 5-11 Jr. Nolan Asher, 6-4 Sr. Layton Starks, 5-9 Fr. Omari Jointer, and 5-11 Jr. Santonio Waide.

Woodford County defeated a short-handed Frederick Douglass squad by the score of 71-61. Woodford County shot 45.1% from the field including four of 14 from the three point line. The Yellow Jackets connected on 21 of 30 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 17 Frederick Douglass turnovers. Frederick Douglass shot 43.8% from the field including eight of 18 from beyond the arc. The Broncos connected on 11 of 16 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 11 Woodford County turnovers.

Layton Starks led a balanced Woodford County scoring attack with 17 points and eight rebounds. Omari Jointer added 15 points including seven of nine free throws, and three rebounds. Santonio Waide recorded 15 points including six of seven free throws, and two steals. Jaunte Jenkins chipped in with 13 points including two three point baskets, three rebounds, and two assists.

Terry Cayson led Frederick Douglass with 18 points including seven of eight free throws, and four rebounds. 6-3 Jr. James Clare added 14 points including two three point baskets, and five rebounds. Dakari Talbert recorded 11 points, three rebounds, five assists, and two steals. Christopher Wright chipped in with eight points.
