Lexington Christian Academy coach Tim Bradshaw started the following lineup: 5-6 Jr. Ella Gabbert, 5-6 So. Jenny Bertram, 5-9 8th Grade Koko Castle, 5-6 Jr. Chapel Brown, and 5-7 Jr. Claire Roberts. Paul Laurence Dunbar coach Erik Daniels countered with 5-9 Sr. Bella Rusing, 5-7 Sr. Justice Biggerstaff, 5-10 Fr. Ellie Lavey, 5-4 Fr. Layla Flynn, and 5-5 Sr. Eriyaune Daniels.

Lexington Christian Academy defeated Paul Laurence Dunbar by the score of 43-35. The score was tied twice and there were five lead changes in the game. LCA shot 27% from the field including five of 17 from the three point line. The Lady Eagles connected on 18 of 25 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 13 Dunbar turnovers. Dunbar shot 27.1% from the field including four of 15 from beyond the arc. The Lady Bulldogs connected on five of eight free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 10 points off 21 LCA turnovers.

Claire Roberts led LCA with 16 points including two three point baskets, eight of 11 free throws, seven rebounds, and three steals. Chapel Brown added 10 points including three of four free throws, four rebounds, two assists, and three steals. Koko Castle recorded six points on six of eight free throws and eight rebounds. Ella Gabbert chipped in with six points on two three point baskets. Jenny Bertram added three points, nine rebounds, and two steals. 5-9 Jr. Sophie Pridemore recorded two points and six rebounds.

Layla Flynn led Dunbar with 12 points, seven rebounds, and nine steals. Eriyaune Daniels added nine points on three three point baskets, and two rebounds. Bella Rusing recorded seven points, three rebounds, and three steals. Justice Biggerstaff chipped in with five points and five rebounds. Ellie Lavey recorded two points, three rebounds, two blocked shots, and two steals.
