Scott County vs. Menifee County (Girls)

Scott County coach Steve Helton started the following lineup: 5-7 Jr. Maleiyah Moore, 5-7 So. Dymon Percell, 6-0 So. Kierstin Young, 5-7 Jr. Mmya Summers, and 5-7 Sr. Kaylen Perry. Menifee County coach Drew Swartz countered with 5-10 So. Aubrey Golden, 5-5 Sr. Kylee Hall, 5-11 So. Payton Burgess, 5-3 So. Jaycee Gevedon, and 5-6 Jr. Shalyne Baker.

Menifee County defeated Scott County by the score of 50-35. Menifee County shot 34.5% from the field including seven of 21 from the three point line. The Lady Cats connected on five of seven free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 17 Scott County turnovers. Scott County shot 25.8% from the field including three of 31 from beyond the arc. The Lady Cardinals were zero of two from the free throw line, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 17 Menifee County turnovers.

Jaycee Gevedon led Menifee County with 22 points including four three point baskets, three rebounds, two assists, and four steals. Payton Burgess added 14 points including two three point baskets, 15 rebounds, and two assists. Shalyne Baker recorded six points, six rebounds, three assists, and three steals. Kylee Hall chipped in with four points, four rebounds, four assists, and six steals. Aubrey Golden recorded four points and four rebounds.

5-8 Jr. Allison Mosby led Scott County with 10 points and five rebounds. Kaylen Perry added nine points, two rebounds, and four steals. Nmya Summers recorded eight points, seven rebounds, and two assists. 5-7 So. Jessica Horn pulled down 10 rebounds.
