Bryan Station coach Champ Ligon Jr. started the following lineup: 6-4 Sr. Daeveon Adams, 6-3 So. Taeshawn Adams, 6-7 Jr. Felix Gonzalez, 5-10 Sr. Bryson Carpenter, and 6-1 So. Amari Owens. Frederick Douglass coach Stephon Harris countered with 6-3 Jr. Aveion Chenault, 6-2 Jr. Logan Busson, 6-4 So. DeMarcus Surratt, 5-8 Jr. Chris Wright, and 6-4 Jr. Armelo Boone.

Bryan Station defeated Frederick Douglass by the score of 73-60. Bryan Station led 30-24 at halftime and went on a 27-9 run in the third quarter to take a 57-33 lead after three quarters. Frederick Douglass outscored Bryan Station 27-16 in the final quarter but could not even the game. There were eight lead changes and six ties in this game. Bryan Station shot 43.1% from the field including eight of 16 from the three point line. The Defenders connected on nine of 18 free throws, pulled down 45 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 14 Frederick Douglass turnovers. Frederick Douglass shot 35.5% from the field including three of 19 from beyond the arc. The Broncos connected on 13 of 24 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored nine points off 13 Bryan Station turnovers.

Amari Owens led Bryan Station with 17 points, eight rebounds, five assists, and four steals. Taeshawn Adams added 14 points, four rebounds, two assists, two blocked shots, and four steals. Daeveon Adams recorded 14 points including three three point baskets, eight rebounds, and two assists. 5-11 Jr. Rashaad Faulkner chipped in with nine points and four rebounds. 6-3 Sr. Matthew Golinski added seven points and 13 rebounds.

Armelo Boone led Frederick Douglass with 23 points, eight rebounds, and two blocked shots. Aveion Chenault added 16 points, 16 rebounds, three assists, four blocks, and two steals. Logan Busson recorded seven points and four rebounds. DeMarcus Surratt chipped in with five points and five rebounds.
