Covington Catholic coach Scott Ruthsatz started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Brady Hussey, 6-0 Jr. Nolan Ruthsatz, 6-9 Sr. Caden Miller, 5-11 So. Athens McGillis, and 5-11 So. Cash Harney. Conner coach Matthew Otte countered with 6-3 Sr. Mariano Romero, 6-2 Fr. Tyler Warner, 6-5 Jr. Landon Warner, 6-0 So. Finn Louden, and 6-1 So. Brady Bushman.

Covington Catholic defeated Conner by the score of 78-53. Covington Catholic shot 50% from the field including seven of 27 from the three point line. The Knights connected on seven of 21 free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 14 Conner turnovers. Conner shot 37.5% from the field including seven of 23 from beyond the arc. The Cougars connected on 10 of 13 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 10 Covington Catholic turnovers.

Brady Hussey led Covington Catholic with 23 points including three three point baskets, 10 rebounds, and two steals. Caden Miller added 18 points, eight rebounds, and three blocked shots. Cash Harney recorded 17 points including six of seven free throws, four rebounds, and seven assists. Athens McGillis chipped in with eight points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, and four assists.

Finn Louden led Conner with 19 points including three three point baskets, and four rebounds. Brady Bushman added 10 points including two three point baskets and six rebounds. Landon Warner recorded seven points and six rebounds.
