Lafayette coach Allison Denton started the following lineup: 5-8 Jr. Belle Combs, 5-8 Fr. Addison Combs, 5-10 Jr. Tess Nelson, 5-5 So. Anna Clay Denton, and 5-5 Jr. Abbey Popham. Henry Clay coach Ashley Garrard countered with 5-9 Sr. Allison Stone, 5-8 Sr. Emily Johnson, 5-10 Sr. Elizabeth Nelson, 5-2 Jr. Ariyanna Sutton, and 5-6 Sr. Timarri Miller.
Henry Clay defeated Lafayette by the score of 48-42. Henry Clay shot 32.1% from the field including six of 20 from the three point line. The Lady Blue Devils connected on eight of 10 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 20 Lafayette turnovers. Lafayette shot 33.3% from the field including one of 12 from beyond the arc. The Lady Generals connected on 17 of 27 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored nine points off 13 Henry Clay turnovers.
5-8 Sr. Lydia Van Metre led Henry Clay with 17 points including five three point baskets, and three rebounds. Allison Stone added 10 points, eight rebounds, two assists, and two steals. TimarriMiller recorded nine points, six rebounds, and four steals.
Belle Combs led Lafayette with 10 points, 10 rebounds, and two steals. Anna Clay Denton added 10 points, six rebounds, and five assists. 5-3 Jr. Kierstyn Kelly chipped in with seven points. Tess Nelson recorded six points and seven rebounds. Addison Combs added five points, two rebounds, and two blocked shots.
