Lexington Catholic coach Michael Menifee started the following lineup: 5-9 Sr. Lydia Kennedy, 5-8 Sr. Mary Hall, 5-9 Sr. Marielle Sackleh, 5-5 So. Josey Cox, and 5-6 Sr. Brooke Russell. Lafayette coach Allison Denton countered with 5-8 Fr. Addison Combs, 5-8 Jr. Belle Combs, 5-10 Jr. Tess Nelson, 5-5 So. Anna Clay Denton, and 5-5 Jr. Abbey Popham.

Lexington Catholic earned a big win over Lafayette by the score of 44-39. There were seven ties and five lead changes in the game. Lexington Catholic shot 45% from the field including two of 15 from the three point line. The Lady Knights connected on six of 11 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 15 Lafayette turnovers. Lafayette shot 30.4% from the field including five of 19 from beyond the arc. The Lady Generals connected on six of 12 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored four points off 17 Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Lydia Kennedy led Lexington Catholic with 15 points, five rebounds, and two assists. 5-9 So. Payton Avilez added nine points and eight rebounds. Josey Cox recorded five points, four rebounds, and three assists. 5-9 So. Bella Bretz chipped in with five points and three rebounds.

Abbey Popham led Lafayette with 17 points including five three point baskets, three rebounds, and two steals. Belle Combs added 15 points including five of six free throws, eight rebounds, and two steals. Tess Nelson recorded four points, 10 rebounds, and two assists. Anna Clay Denton chipped in with one point, two rebounds, eight assists, and three steals.
