Lexington Christian Academy coach Tim Bradshaw started the following lineup: 5-6 Jr. Ella Gabbert, 5-6 So. Jenny Bertram, 5-9 8th Grade Koko Castle, 5=6 Jr. Chapel Brown, and 5-7 Jr. Claire Roberts. Lafayette coach Allison Denton countered with 5-8 Fr. Addison Combs, 5-8 Jr. Belle Combs, 5-10 Jr. Tess Nelson, 5-5 So. Anna Clay Denton, and 5-5 Jr. Abbey Popham.

Lafayette trailed 37-36 after three quarters but rallied to defeat Lexington Christian Academy by the score of 50-44. The score was tied three times and there were four lead changes in the game. Lafayette shot 48.8% from the field including five of 18 from the three point line. The Lady Generals connected on five of six free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 10 LCA turnovers. LCA shot 35.1% frfom the field including nine of 21 from beyond the arc. The Lady Eagles connected on nine of 10 free throws, pulled down 19 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 11 Lafayette turnovers.

Abbey Popham led Lafayette with 14 points including two three point baskets, five rebounds, three assists. Amd two steals. Belle Combs added 13 points, nine rebounds, and two steals. Tess Nelson recorded 12 points including two three point baskets, three rebounds, and five assists. Anna Clay Denton chipped in with seven points and four assists.

Claire Roberts led LCA with 13 points including three three point baskets, five rebounds, and two assists. Chapel Brown added 13 points including three three point baskets, three rebounds, and three assists. Ella Gabbert recorded nine points on three three point baskets. Koko Castle chipped in with seven points including five of six free throws, and six rebounds.
