Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown started the following lineup: 6-4 So. Jackson Stephan, 6-2 Sr. Isaiah Stephan, 6-5 Jr. Hassan Bush, 6-0 Jr. Kayson Brown, and 6-1 Jr. AJ Dixon. Frederick Douglass coach Stephon Harris countered with 6-4 Jr. Armelo Boone, 6-4 So. DeMarcus Surratt, 6-3 Jr. Aveion Chenault, 6-2 So. Terry Cayson, and 6-2 Jr. Logan Busson.

Frederick Douglass defeated Henry Clay by the score of 71-44. Frederick Douglass shot 44.6% from the field including seven of 19 from the three point line. The Broncos connected on six of 17 free throws, pulled down 41 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 15 Henry Clay turnovers. Henry Clay shot 40.5% from the field including four of 12 from beyond the arc. The Blue Devils connected on six of 11 free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored seven points off five Frederick Douglass turnovers.

Aveion Chenault led Frederick Douglass with 16 points including four three point baskets, seven rebounds, five assists, and two steals. Logan Busson added 14 points, 11 rebounds, and three assists. DeMarcus Surratt recorded 13 points, five rebounds, and four assists. Armelo Boone chipped in with 11 points including two three point baskets, seven rebounds, and four assists.

Jackson Stephan led Henry Clay with 15 points including two three point baskets, and four rebounds. Hassan Bush added 10 points, three rebounds, and two assists. Isaiah Stephan recorded 10 points including two three point baskets. 5-10 Jr. Trevor Evans chipped in with six points and three rebounds.
