Great Crossing coach Steve Page started the following lineup: 6-7 Sr. Jeremiah Godfrey, 6-5 Jr. Vince Dawson III, 7-1 Jr. Malachi Moreno, 5-10 Jr. Junius Burrell, and 6-4 Jr. Gage Richardson. Madison Southern coach Steve Wright countered with 6-4 Sr. Jay Rose, 6-1 Jr. Mason Davis, 6-2 Sr. Avery Davidson, 5-8 Jr. Casen Nobbe, and 6-0 Sr. Braden Hudson. (6-1 Sr. Zach Hudson is out with an injury).

Great Crossing outscored Madison Southern 24-5 in the second quarter on their way to a 76-46 victory. Great Crossing shot 50% from the field including five of 17 from the three point line. The Warhawks connected on five of eight free throws, pulled down 44 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 11 Madison Southern turnovers. Madison Southern shot 25.9% from the field including five of 25 from beyond the arc. The Eagles connected on 13 of 15 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored two points off seven Great Crossing turnovers.

Malachi Moreno led Great Crossing with 24 points, 16 rebounds, three assists, and two blocked shots. Jeremiah Godfrey added 14 points, eight rebounds, and two blocked shots. Junius Burrell recorded 13 points, four rebounds, six assists, and three steals. Vince Dawson III chipped in with 10 points, four rebounds, and three steals. Gage Richardson added six points on two three point baskets.

Jay Rose led Madison Southern with 14 points including five of five free throws, and two rebounds. Avery Davidson added nine points including two three point baskets, and two rebounds. Braden Hudson recorded seven points, five rebounds, and three assists. Casen Nobbe chipped in with seven points and four rebounds.
