Bryan Station coach Champ Ligon Jr. started the following lineup: 6-4 Sr. Daeveon Adams, 6-3 So. Taeshawn Adams, 6-7 Jr. Felix Gonzalez, 5-10 Sr. Bryson Carpenter, and 6-1 So. Amari Owens. Sayre coach Robert Goodman countered with 6-4 Jr. Chase Parker, 6-1 Jr. Brock Coffman, 6-6 Sr. Ian Reesor, 5-8 Sr. Noah Gallagher, and 5-11 Jr. Luke Pennington.

Bryan Station earned a close 64-62 decision over Sayre on the road. Bryan Station led 28-14 in the second quarter but Sayre fought back to make it a close game. Bryan Station shot 54.8% from the field including four of 10 from the three point line. The Defenders connected on 14 of 25 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored five points off nine Sayre turnovers. Sayre shot 36.4% from the field including four of 13 from beyond the arc. The Spartans connected on 18 of 30 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored four points off 13 Bryan Station turnovers.

Amari Owens led Bryan Station with 25 points including eight of 14 free throws, and 11 rebounds. Taeshawn Adams added 11 points and five rebounds. Daeveon Adams recorded nine points, two rebounds, and two assists. 5-11 Jr. Rashaad Faulkner chipped in with eight points including two three point baskets and two rebounds. Felix Gonzalez added four points, seven rebounds, three assists, and two blocked shots.

Brock Coffman led Sayre with 30 points including 11 of 15 free throws, 14 rebounds, and three assists. Ian Reesor added 18 points including two three point baskets, four of seven free throws, eight rebounds, and two assists. Noah Gallagher recorded seven points and three rebounds. Chase Parker chipped in with seven points, two assists, and two steals.
