Madison Central vs. Bryan Station (Girls)

Madison Central coach Scott True started the following lineup: 5-7 Jr. Brooke Campbell, 5-7 Sr. Eden Carter, 5-10 Jr. Cameryn Ridderikhoff, 5-7 Jr. Brittant Campbell, and 5-6 Jr. Nataya Strader. Bryan Station coach Serena Sandusky countered with 5-8 Jr. Alondra Gonzalez Perez, 5-7 So. Akiyah Wade, 5-11 Sr. Kailyn Gentry, 5-4 Sr. Chloe Do, and 5-6 So. Elayna Ward.

Madison Central defeated Bryan Station by the score of 57-40 in a game of runs. Madison Central exploded out of the starting gate and led 21-6 after the first quarter. However, the Lady Indians only shot 7.1% (1-14) from the field in the second quarter and Bryan Station went to the locker room with a 26-26 tie. Madison Central outscored Bryan Station 18-2 in the third quarter to gain control of the game as Bryan Station was 1-10 from the field in the third quarter. Madison Central shot 42.6% from the field including seven of 22 from the three point line. The Lady Indians connected on four of nine free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 28 points off 30 Bryan Station turnovers. Bryan Station shot 36.8% from the field including four of 11 from beyond the arc. The Lady Defenders connected on eight of 11 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored nine points off 12 Madison Central turnovers.

Brittany Campbell led Madison Central with 14 points including two three point baskets, three rebounds, three assists, and four steals. Nataya Strader added nine points, three rebounds, three assists, and three steals. 5-7 Sr. Olivia Metcalfe recorded nine points including two three point baskets, and six rebounds. Cameryn Ridderikhoff chipped in with eight points, three rebounds, four assists, and three steals. Eden Carter added five points, three rebounds, and three steals.

6-3 Jr. Albertine Cyuzuzo led Bryan Station with 12 points including two three point baskets, and 14 rebounds. Akiyah Wade added 15 points including four of five free throws, three rebounds, and two steals. Kailyn Gentry recorded nine points, eight rebounds, and two steals.
