Lexington Christian Academy coach Ted Hall started the following lineup: 6-5 So. Simon King, 6-2 Jr. Hagan Preston, 6-8 Sr. Payton Mayhorn, 5-11 So. Sam Spillman, and 6-0 Jr. Saxton Howard. Cooper coach Tim Sullivan countered with 6-4 Jr. Isaiah Johnson, 6-3 Jr. Jaiden Combs, 6-6 Sr. Shaun Pouncy, 5-10 Sr. Evan Blackburn, and 5-10 Jr. Yamil Rondon.

Cooper defeated Lexington Christian Academy with by the score of 60-57. There were seven ties and nine lead changes in this game. Cooper shot 46.2% from the field including three of 16 from the three point line. The Jaguars connected on nine of 16 free throws, pulled down 40 rebounds, and scored 10 points off nine Lexington Christian Academy turnovers. Lexington Christian Academy shot 44.7% from the field including eight of 17 from beyond the arc. The Eagles connected on seven of 10 free throws, pulled down 19 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 15 Cooper turnovers.

Shaun Pouncy led Cooper with 18 points, 14 rebounds, and two blocked shots. Jaiden Combs added 16 points including four of four free throws, four rebounds, and two assists. Yamil Rondon recorded 11 points, four rebounds, five assists, and two steals. Isaiah Johnson chipped in with 10 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and two blocked shots.

Hagan Preston led Lexington Christian Academy with 21 points including two three point baskets, five of seven free throws, four rebounds, four assists, and four steals. Saxton Howard added 14 points including two three point baskets, two rebounds, four assists, and two steals. Sam Spillman recorded seven points, three rebounds, and two steals.
