Henry Clay coach Ashley Garrard started the following lineup: 5-8 Sr. Emily Johnson, 5-8 Sr. Lydia Van Metre, 5-10 Sr. Elizabeth Nelson, 5-2 Jr. Ariyanna Sutton, and 5-6 Sr. Timarri Miller. Scott County coach Steve Helton countered with 5-7 Jr. Maleiyah Moore, 5-7 Jr. Nyma Summers, 6-0 So. Kierstin Young, 5-7 So. Dymon Percell, and 5-7 Sr. Kaylen Perry.

Kaylen Perry hit two free throws in the closing seconds to give Scott County a thrilling 63-62 come-from-behind victory over Henry Clay. Scott County trailed 34-18 early in the third quarter but Scott County otscored Henry Clay 45-28 to finish the game. There were three lead changes and four ties in this game. Scott County shot a sizzling 72.7% from the field in the second half. Scott County shot 38.9% from the field including six of 21 from the three point line. The Lady Cardinals connected on 15 of 21 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 24 Henry Clay turnovers. Henry Clay shot 39.3% from the field including three of 13 from beyond the arc. The Lady Blue Devils connected on 15 of 23 free throws, pulled down 43 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 16 Scott County turnovers.

Maleiyah Moore led Scott County with 26 points including four three point baskets, four of six free throws, four rebounds, two assists, and four steals. Kaylen Perry added 11 points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, and two assists. Nmya Summers recorded nine points, two rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Dymon Percell chipped in with nine points, two rebounds, and two steals. 5-8 So. Jessica Horn added four points and six rebounds. Kierstin Young blocked five shots.

Timarri Miller led Henry Clay with 20 points including six of 12 free throws, four rebounds, two assists, and three steals. 5-9 Jr. Amari Sims added 11 points and two steals. Ariyanna Sutton recorded 10 points, three rebounds, and six assists. Elizabeth Nelson chipped in with eight points including six of six free throws, seven rebounds, and two assists. Emily Johnson tallied seven points, eight rebounds, two blocked shots, and two steals. Lydia Van Metre recorded six points on two three point baskets, and seven rebounds.
