George Rogers Clark coach Robbie Graham started the following lineup: 5-8 Sr. Makili Tabor, 5-8 So. Teigh Yeast, 5-10 Jr. Khania Jones, 5-6 Fr. Kennedy Stamper, and 5-7 So. Anaya Chestnut. Butler coach Candyce Wheeler countered with 6-1 Sr. Mariah Knight, 5-8 Sr. Malia Patrick, 6-3 Sr. Ramiya White, 5-0 Jr. Anieja Russell, and 5-4 Sr. Keziah Bradley.

Butler captured a close 61-58 decision over George Rogers Clark, There were two lead changes and five ties in this game. Butler shot 52.6% from the field including six of 11 from the three point line. The Bearettes connected on 15 of 20 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored nine points off 10 George Rogers Clark turnovers. George Rogers Clark shot 36.2% from the field including four of 14 from beyond the arc. The Lady Cardinals connected on 20 of 23 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 17 Butler turnovers.

Mariah Knight led Butler with 20 points including three three point baskets, five of six free throws, 11 rebounds, and five assists. Ramiya White added 19 points including six of six free throws, and six rebounds. Anieja Russell record eight points, two rebounds, and three assists. Keziah Bradley chipped in with eight points including two three point baskets and three rebounds.

5-7 Jr. Jailenn Green led George Rogers Clark with 21 points including two three point baskets, five of nine free throws, two rebounds, and three steals. Teigh Yeast added 14 points including three of four free throws, three rebounds, two assists, and three steals. Kennedy Stamper recorded 10 points including six of seven free throws, and four rebounds. Anaya Chestnut chipped in with seven points including four of four free throws, two assists, and two steals. Khania Jones added six points and three rebounds.
