Butler coach Candyce Wheeler started the following lineup: 6-1 Sr. Mariah Knight, 5-8 Sr. Malia Patrick, 6-3 Sr. Ramiya White, 5-0 Jr. Anieja Russell, and 5-4 Sr. Keziah Bradley. Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir countered with 6-0 Jr. ZaKiyah Johnson, 5-8 Sr. Claire Russell, 6-3 Sr. Angelina Pelayo, 5-3 Fr. Amirah “Tootie” Jordan, and 5-10 Sr. Reagan Bender.

Sacred Heart Academy defeated Butler by the score of 55-24. Sacred Heart Academy shot 40.4% from the field including six of 14 from the three point line. The Valkyries connected on seven of 11 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored 18 points off 21 Butler turnovers. Butler shot 25.8% from the field including one of eight from beyond the arc. The Bearettes connected on sevn of 11 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored six points off 11 Sacred Heart Academy turnovers.

ZaKiyah Johnson led Sacred Heart Academy with 25 points including five three point baskets, six rebounds, and three assists. Claire Russell added eight points, nine rebounds, and two assists. Reagan Bender recorded eight points, four rebounds, and three steals. Amirah “Tootie” Jordan chipped in with four points, three rebounds, two assists, and two steals.

Ramiya White led Butler with six points, five rebounds, and three blocked shots. Keziah Bradley added four points.
