Lafayette coach Allison Tate Denton started the following lineup: 5-10 Jr. Tess Nelson. 5-8 Fr. Addison Combs, 5-10 Jr. Belle Combs, 5-6 So. Anna Clay Denton, and 5-5 Jr. Abbey Popham. Tates Creek coach Jana Costner countered with 5-8 Sr. Ashton Harris, 5-8 Fr. Jazlene Potter, 5-9 7th Grade Isabelle Ellison, 5-7 Fr. Kaleigh Potts, and 5-7 Jr. Miracle Morbley.
Tates Creek defeated Lafayette by the score of 58-45. Tates Creek shot 48.8% from the field including six of 12 from the three point line. The Lady Commodores connected on 12 of 16 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 16 Lafayette turnovers. Lafayette shot 37.3% from the field including four of 15 from beyond the arc. The Lady Generals connected on three of seven free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 14 Lafayette turnovers.
Miracle Morbley led Tates Creek with 19 points including four of six free throws, five rebounds, and four steals. Ashton Harris added 16 points including seven of seven free throws, three rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Kaleigh Potts recorded 13 points including three three point baskets, two rebounds, five assists, and three steals.
Belle Combs led Lafayette with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Tess Nelson added 10 points including two three point baskets, and five steals. Abbey Popham recorded eight points including two three point baskets. Addison Combs chipped in with six points and seven rebounds.
