Great Crossing coach Matt Walls started the following lineup: 5-11 Sr. Ava Schureman, 5-8 Sr.Olivia Tierney, 6-1 Jr. Kennedy Harrison, 5-3 8th Grade Kendall Kearney, and 5-6 Jr. Jaelle Henderson. Lafayette coach Allison Tate Denton countered with 5-10 Jr. Belle Combs, 5-8 Fr. Addison Combs, 5-10 Jr. Tess Nelson, 5-5 So. Anna Clay Denton, and 5-5 Jr. Abbey Popham.

Lafayette trailed 45-39 early in the final quarter but rallied for a 55-53 victory over Great Crossing. The score was tied eight times and there were 10 lead changes in the game. Lafayette shot 45.8% from the field including six of 12 from the three point line. The Lady Generals connected on five of seven free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 18 Great Crossing turnovers. Great Crossing shot 41.7% from the field including six of 15 from beyond the arc. The Lady Warhawks connected on seven of 13 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 21 points off 10 Lafayette turnovers.

Belle Combs led Lafayette with 18 points, 10 rebounds, and three blocked shots. Abbey Popham added 18 points including five three point baskets, and three rebounds. Anna Clay Denton recorded nine points and seven assists.

Olivia Tierney led Great Crossing with 21 points including three three point baskets, three rebounds, three assists, and four steals. Kennedy Harrison added 11 points and 17 rebounds. Kendall Kearney recorded eight points including two three point baskets and four assists. Ava Schureman chipped in with six points, two rebounds, two assists, and two steals.
