Lafayette coach Allison Tate Denton started the following lineup: 5-10 Jr. Tess Nelson, 5-8 Fr. Addison Combs, 5-10 Jr. Belle Combs, 5-5 So. Anna Clay Denton, and 5-5 Jr. Abbey Popham. Madison Southern coach Josh Curtis countered with 5-10 So. Laci Sandlin, 5-5 Jr. Ashlan Estep, 5-9 Sr. Olivia Wagoner, 5-1 Jr. Maria Himes, and 5-4 So. Hadley French.

Madison Southern defeated Lafayette by the score of 63-41. Madison Southern shot 46.2% from the field including 11 of 20 from the three point line. The Lady Eagles connected on 16 of 20 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 14 Lafayette turnovers. Lafayette shot 29.6% from the field including three of 23 from beyond the arc. The Lady Generals connected on six of 11 free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 11 points off eight Madison Southern turnovers.

Hadley French led Madison Southern with 31 points including nine three point baskets, five rebounds, and two assists. Laci Sandlin added 11 points including five of six free throws and two steals. Ashlan Estep recorded five points on five of six free throws, four rebounds, four assists, and three steals.

Belle Combs led Lafayette with 17 points, six rebounds, and two blocked shots. Anna Clay Denton added nine points on three three point baskets, four rebounds, three assists, and three steals. Addison Combs recorded seven points, eight rebounds, and two assists. Tess Nelson chipped in with six points, 11 rebounds, and four assists.
