Madison Central vs. Nicholas County (Girls)

Madison Central coach Scott True started the following lineup: 7-7 Sr. Eden Carter, 5-7 Jr. Brooke Campbell, 5-10 Jr. Cameryn Ridderikhoff, 5-7 Jr. Brittany Campbell, and 5-6 Jr. Nataya Strader. Nicholas County coach Greg Letcher countered with 5-8 Sr. Tessa Humphries, 5-6 Sr. Sydney Carpenter, 5-8 Sr. Nevaeh Davis, 5-2 Fr. Caroline Banks, and 5-7 Fr. Maggie Simons.

Madison Central defeated Nicholas County by the score of 48-32. Madison Central shot 44.4% from the field including seven of 23 from the three point line. The Lady Indians connected on one of four free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 18 Nicholas County turnovers. Nicholas County shot 36.1% from the field including one of eight from beyond the arc. The Lady Jackets connected on five of eight free throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored five points off 11 Madison Central turnovers.

Cameryn Ridderikhoff led Madison Central with 21 points including five three point baskets and four rebounds. Brittany Campbell added nine points, three rebounds, and five assists. Nataya Strader recorded six points, two rebounds, two assists, and three steals. Eden Carter chipped in with five points, three rebounds, and two assists. Brooke Campbell recorded three points, two rebounds, three assists, and two steals.

Tessa Humphries led Nicholas County with 14 points and five rebounds. Nevaeh Davis added five points, six rebounds, two assists, and three steals. Maggie Simons recorded five points, five rebounds, and two assists. 5-6 Sr. Katie Switzer chipped in with five points including one three point basket. Sydney Carpenter recorded six rebounds and four assists.
