Frankfort coach Maurice Garrard started the following lineup: 5-10 Sr. Brooklyn Peyton, 5-8 So. Destini Sims, 5-9 8th Grade Taylin Wade, 5-2 Sr. Charlotte Barnett, and 5-5 Jr. Charlianne Robinson. Henry Clay coach Ashley Garrard countered with 5-9 Sr. Allison Stone, 5-8 Sr. Lydia Van Metre, 5-10 Sr. Elizabeth Nelson, 5-2 Jr. Ariyanna Sutton, and 5-6 Sr. Timarri Miller.

Henry Clay pulled away in the second half to defeat Frankfort 71-38 in an emotional game between both coaches as father faced daughter in today’s contest. Henry Clay shot 47.5% from the field including six of 15 from the three point line. The Lady Blue Devils connected on seven of 15 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and scored 28 points off 20 Frankfort turnovers. Frankfort shot 30.2% from the field including three of 17 from beyond the arc. The Lady Panthers connected on nine of 20 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored six points off 14 Henry Clay turnovers.

Ariyanna Sutton led Henry Clay with 18 points including two three point baskets, three rebounds, three assists, and three steals. 5-9 Jr. Amari Sims added 12 points and four rebounds. Allison Stone recorded 11 points, 11 rebounds, two assists, and three steals. Timarri Miller chipped in with eight points, five rebounds, three assists, and two steals. 5-2 Fr. Brinley Dumphord added seven points including three of four free throws. 5-5 7th Grade Tamia Waide recorded six points on two three point baskets, four rebounds, and seven assists.

Charlianne Robinson led Frankfort with 17 points, three rebounds, and three steals. Taylin Wade added 13 points, seven rebounds, and two steals. Charlotte Barnett recorded five points, two rebounds, and three assists. Brooklyn Peyton pulled down five rebounds.
