Madison Central coach Allen Feldhaus Jr. started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Eli Steele, 6-2 Jr. Cody Morrison, 6-6 Sr. Tye Thomas, 5-8 Fr. Ricky Goatley, and 6-0 Jr. Landon Ray. Lexington Catholic coach Brandon Salsman countered with 6-5 Sr. Tyler Doyle, 6-4 Sr. Rowan Williams, 6-7 Sr. Miller Williams, 6-0 Sr. John Reinhart, and 6-3 Jr. Ryan Harward.

Lexington Catholic defeated Madison Central by the score of 48-36. Lexington Catholic shot 40% from the field including two of 12 from the three point line. The Knights connected on 14 of 19 free throws, pulled down 22 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 14 Madison Central turnovers. Madison Central shot 38.2% from the field including two of 10 from beyond the arc. The Indians connected on eight of 12 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored four points off four Lexington Catholic turnovers.

Tyler Doyle led Lexington Catholic with 18 points including five of seven free throws, three rebounds, and four assists. Rowan Williams added 12 points and six rebounds. John Reinhart recorded 10 points and two steals.

Cody Morrison led Madison Central with 13 points and two rebounds. Tye Thomas added six points, 10 rebounds, and two assists. Eli Steele recorded six points on six of six free throws and six rebounds.
