Lexington Christian Academy coach Ted Hall started the following lineup: 6-5 So. Simon King, 6-2 Jr. Hagan Preston, 6-8 Sr. Payton Mayhorn, 5-11 So. Sam Spillman, and 6-0 Jr. Saxton Howard. West Jessamine coach Taylor Harper countered with 6-4 So. Kaden Floyd, 6-0 So. Sawyer Thornton, 6-5 Sr. Ethan Little, 5-9 So. Gavin Murphy, and 6-0 Jr. Ben Hershey.

Ben Hershey hit a three point basket deep in the corner in the closing seconds to give West Jessamine a 41-40 come-from-behind victory over Lexington Christian Academy. West Jessamine trailed 37-28 after three quarters but outscored LCA 13-3 in the final quarter. There were three ties and three lead changes in this game. West Jessamine shot 32% from the field including four of 17 from the three point line. The Colts connected on five of nine free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 20 points off 21 LCA turnovers. LCA shot 31.1% from the field including five of 21 from beyond the arc. The Eagles connected on seven of 18 free throws, pulled down 37 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 16 West Jessamine turnovers.

Gavin Murphy led West Jessamine with 10 points including two three point baskets, five rebounds, and five assists. Kaden Floyd added seven points, 12 rebounds, and two blocked shots. Ben Hershey recorded seven points, three rebounds, and three steals. Ethan Little chipped in with seven points and 5-11 So. JT Messick pulled down seven rebounds.

Saxton Howard led LCA with 18 points including three three point baskets and seven rebounds. Hagan Preston added seven points including five of eight free throws, three rebounds, five assists, and four steals. Payton Mayhorn recorded five points and six rebounds. 6-2 Jr. Braylon Moss chipped in with five points, four rebounds, and two assists. Simon King pulled down six rebounds.
