Covington Catholic coach Scott Ruthsatz started the following lineup: 6-2 Sr. Brady Hussey, 6-0 Jr. Nolan Ruthsatz, 6-9 Sr. Caden Miller, 5-11 Jr. Cash Harney, and 5-11 Jr. Athens McGillis. Covington Holy Cross coach Ricardo Johnson countered with 6-3 Sr. Carson Reinersman, 6-2 Jr. Nate Rominger, 6-5 Jr. William McElheney, 6-1 So. Luke Arlinghaus, and 6-1 Jr. Jonah Crail.

Covington Catholic defeated Covington Holy Cross by the score of 78-55. Covington Catholic shot 56.6% from the field including eight of 17 from the three point line. The Colonels connected on 10 of 12 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 25 points off 16 Covington Holy Cross turnovers. Covington Holy Cross shot 42% from the field including eight of 22 from beyond the arc. The Indians connected on five of 10 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored five points off eight Covington Catholic turnovers.

Caden Miller led Covington Catholic with 18 points and 14 rebounds. Cash Harney added 14 points including two three point baskets, five assists, and three steals. Brady Hussey recorded 12 points including two three point baskets, two rebounds, and two steals. 6-6 So. Donovan Bradshaw chipped in with 12 points including four of four free throws. Athens McGillis added 10 points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, four assists, and four steals.

Nate Rominger led Covington Holy Cross with 14 points, three rebounds, and two assists. Luke Arlinghaus added nine points on three three point baskets. Jonah Crail recorded seven points. William McElheney chipped in with six points and five assists.
