Sayre coach Robert Goodman started the following lineup: 6-4 Jr. Chase Parker, 6-1 Jr. Brock Coffman, 6-6 Sr. Ian Reesor, 5-8 Sr. Noah Gallagher, and 5-11 Jr. Luke Pennington. Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown countered with 6-4 So. Jackson Stephan, 6-2 Sr. Isaiah Stephan, 6-5 Jr. Hassan Bush, 6-0 Jr. Kayson Brown, and 6-1 Jr. AJ Dixon.

Henry Clay defeated Sayre 67-64 in overtime. The score was tied 10 times and there were eight lead changes in this game. Henry Clay shot 45.8% from the field including seven of 23 from the three point line. The Blue Devils connected on 16 of 19 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 12 Sayre turnovers. Sayre shot 36.2% from the field including four of 23 from beyond the arc. The Spartans connected on 18 of 30 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 18 Henry Clay turnovers.

Jackson Stephan led Henry Clay with 23 points including nine of nine free throws, 10 rebounds, and four assists. Isaiah Stephan added 13 points including four three point baskets, and four rebounds. AJ Dixon recorded 12 points including two three point baskets, three rebounds, two assists, and three steals. Kayson Brown chipped in with seven points, eight rebounds, and four assists. Hassan Bush added seven points, three rebounds, and two blocked shots.

Ian Reesor led Sayre with 26 points including seven of nine free throws, nine rebounds, and three steals. Brock Coffman added 19 points including two three point baskets, seven of 13 free throws, 11 rebounds, and three assists. Chase Parker recorded nine points, three rebounds, and four steals.
