Somerset coach Andrew Laughlin started the following lineup: 5-7 Jr. Devan Hurt, 5-7 Jr. Serenity Haynes, 5-10 Jr. Tori Robertson, 5-4 Fr. Sarah White, and 5-6 So. Sophie Barnes. Lexington Christian Academy coach Tim Bradshaw countered with 5-6 So. Jenny Bertram, 5-6 Jr. Ella Gabbert, 5-8 8th Grade Koko Castle, 6-6 Jr. Chapel Brown, and 5-7 Jr. Claire Roberts.
Lexington Christian Academy defeated Somerset by the score of 63-61. Ther were four ties and six lead changes in this game. Lexington Christian Academy shot 34.6% from the field including seven of 24 from the three point line. The Lady Eagles connected on 20 of 26 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 16 Somerset turnovers. Somerset shot 44.7% from the field including eight of 20 from beyond the arc. The Briar Jumpers connected on 11 of 22 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 14 LCA turnovers.
Chapel Brown led Lexington Christian Academy with 24 points including two three point baskets, six of nine free throws, four rebounds, and two steals. Ella Gabbert added 12 points on four three point baskets, three rebounds, and three assists. Koko Castle recorded nine points including five of five free throws and six rebounds. Claire Roberts chipped in with nine points including six of eight free throws, four rebounds, seven assists, and three steals. 5-9 Jr. Sophie Pridemore added six points and seven rebounds.
Sarah White led Somerset with 26 points including five three point baskets and eight rebounds. Sophie Barnes added 15 points including two three point baskets, five of eight free throws, four rebounds, six assists, and four steals. Tori Robertson recorded nine points, 13 rebounds, and two assists. Devan Hurt chipped in with six points, two assists, and two steals. Serenity Haynes added five points and six rebounds.
