Valley coach Dennis Williams started the following lineup: 5-7 Jr. Selena Wendling, 5-5 So. Jolie Payne, 5-7 So. Dicksaline Johnson, 5-0 Fr. Miriam Cooper, and 5-4 So. Leah Stinson. Lexington Christian Academy coach Tim Bradshaw countered with 5-6 Jr. Ella Gabbert, 5-6 So. Jenny Bertram, 5-8 8th Grade Koko Castle, 5-7 Jr. Chapel Brown, and 5-7 Jr. Claire Roberts.

Lexington Christian Academy led 26-5 after the first quarter on their way to a 64-34 victory over Valley. Lexington Christian Academy shot 42.6% from the field including 10 of 23 from the three point line. The Lady Eagles connected on eight of 13 free throws, pulled down 43 rebounds, and scored 19 points off 14 Valley turnovers. Valley shot 24.4% from the field including one of 16 from beyond the arc. The Lady Vikings connected on 11 of 16 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 14 LCA turnovers.

Chapel Brown led Lexington Christian Academy with 22 points including six three point baskets, seven rebounds, and three assists. Koko Castle added 13 points, eight rebounds, and two assists. Ella Gabbert recorded 12 points including three three point baskets, four rebounds, and three assists. Claire Roberts chipped in with nine points, five rebounds, three assists, and four steals. 5-9 Jr. Sophie Pridemore recorded four points and seven rebounds.

Leah Stinson led Valley with 22 points including eight of 10 free throws, six rebounds, and three steals. Jolie Payne added six points and three rebounds. Selena Wendling pulled down six rebounds and dished out two assists.
