Frederick Douglass coach Stephon Harris started the following lineup: 6-4 Jr. Armelo Boone, 6-3 Jr. Aveion Chenault, 6-4 So. DeMarcus Surratt, 5-8 Jr. Chris Wright, and 6-2 Jr. Logan Busson. Henry Clay coach Daniel Brown countered with 6-4 So. Jackson Stephan, 6-2 So. Isaiah Stephan, 6-5 Jr. Hassan Bush, 6-0 Jr. Kayson Brown, and 6-1 Jr. A.J. Dixon.

Frederick Douglass outscored Henry Clay 21-9 in the final quarter to earn a 64-57 come-from-behind victory. There were six lead changes and eight ties in this game. Frederick Douglass shot 52% from the field including four of 15 from the three point line. The Broncos connected on eight of 13 free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and scored 13 points off nine Henry Clay turnovers. Henry Clay shot 42% from the field including seven of 20 from beyond the arc. The Blue Devils connected on eight of 14 freee throws, pulled down 26 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 11 Frederick Douglass turnovers.

Aveion Chenault led Frederick Douglass with 19 points and seven rebounds. Armelo Boone added 18 points including three three point baskets, four rebounds, and three assists. DeMarcus Surratt recorded 13 points and four rebounds. Logan Busson chipped in with 10 points and seven rebounds.

Jackson Stephan led Henry Clay with 15 points, four rebounds, and two assists. Kayson Brown added 13 points including four three point baskets, four rebounds, and four assists. Hassan Bush recorded 12 points, five rebounds, and two blocked shots.
