Madison Central coach Scott True started the following lineup: 5-7 Sr. Eden Carter, 5-7 Jr. Brooke Campbell, 5-10 Jr. Cameryn Ridderikhoff, 5-7 Jr. Brittany Campbell, and 5-7 Jr. Nataya Strader. Frederick Douglass coach Daryl Moberly countered with 5-10 Fr. Jaylee Knowles, 5-8 Sr. Victory Sledge, 6-3 Sr. Ayanna-Sarai Darrington, 5-3 Jr. Kate Baker, and 5-7 Jr. Nia Rhodes.

Frederick Douglass trailed 26-25 at halftime but outscored Madison Central 25-10 in the third quarter on their way to a 63-43 victory. There were three ties and four lead changes in the game. Frederick Douglass shot 52% from the field including seven of 19 from the three point line. The Lady Broncos connected on four of seven free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 14 Madison Central turnovers. Madison Central shot 30.6% from the field including three of 14 from beyond the arc. The Lady Indians connected on 10 of 18 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 19 Frederick Douglass turnovers.

Ayanna-Sarai Darrington led Frederick Douglass with 17 points, 16 rebounds, and two assists. Niah Rhodes added 14 points including four three point baskets, two rebounds, and two steals. 5-9 Jr. Amyah Maxwell recorded 13 points, four rebounds, and two assists. Kate Baker chipped in with six points on two three point baskets, two assists, and two steals. Jaylee Knowles recorded five points, five rebounds, three assists, and four blocked shots.

Nataya Strader led Madison Central with 12 points and five rebounds. Cameryn Ridderikhoff added 12 points and four steals. Brittany Campbell recorded 10 points, three rebounds, two assists, and four steals.
