Scott County coach Steve Helton started the following lineup: 5-8 Jr. Allison Mosby. 5-7 Jr. Maleiyah Moore, 6-0 So. Kierstin Young, 5-2 Jr. Alarra Cobbins, and 5-8 So. Jessica Horn. Frankfort coach Maurice Garrard countered with 5-10 Jr. Kendall Cook, 5-9 8th Grade Taylin Wade, 5-10 Sr. Alizay Peyton, 5-2 Sr. Charlotte Barnett, and 5-5 Jr. Charlianne Robinson.

Scott County defeated Frankfort 62-56 in a game that was characterized by scoring runs by both teams. Frankfort led 20-8 after the first quarter but Scott County outscored the Lady Panthers 20-7 in the second quarter to lead 28-27 at halftime. Frankfort led 45-44 after three quarters but Scott County rallied in the final quarter for the victory. There were five lead changes in this game. Scott County shot 45.8% from the field including six of 19 from the three point line. The Lady Cardinals connected on 12 of 15 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 16 Frankfort turnovers. Frankfort shot 33.3% from the field including five of 20 from beyond the arc. The Lady Panthers connected on 17 of 23 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 27 points off 23 Scott County turnovers.

Allison Mosby led Scott County with 21 points including three three point baskets and three rebounds. Maleiyah Moore added 13 points, eight rebounds, four assists, and two steals. Kierstin Young recorded 11 points including seven of seven free throws, and four rebounds. 5-6 So. Belle Banner chipped in with 10 points including two three point baskets, five rebounds, and two assists.

Taylin Wade led a balanced scoring attack with 15 points including three three point baskets and nine rebounds. Charlianna Robinson added 14 points including seven of 11 free throws and two steals. Kendall Cook recorded 13 points, nine rebounds, and eight steals. Alizay Peyton chipped in with 11 points including four of four free throws, three rebounds, and four steals.
