Simon Kenton coach Brenden Stowers started the following lineup: 5-10 So. Anna Kelch, 5-7 Sr. Megan Gadzala, 5-9 So. Haylie Webb, 5-4 8th Grade Bella Ober, and 5-3 Fr. Brynli Pernell. Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir countered with 6-0 Jr. ZaKiyah Johnson, 5-8 Sr. Claire Russell. 6-3 Sr. Angelina Pelayo, 5-3 Fr. Amirah “Tootie” Jordan, and 5-10 Sr. Reagan Bender.

Sacred Heart Academy defeated Simon Kenton by the score of 69-46. Sacred Heart Academy shot 56.3% from the field including seven of 15 from the three point line. The Valkyries connected on eight of 13 free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 16 points off 17 Simon Kenton turnovers. Simon Kenton shot 33.3% from the field including eight of 22 from beyond the arc. The Lady Pioneers connected on two of seven free throws, pulled down 32 rebounds, and scored 14 points off 13 Sacred Heart Academy turnovers.

ZaKiyah Johnson led Sacred Heart Academy with 20 points including six three point baskets, eight rebounds, and two assists. Reagan Bender added 11 points, four rebounds, four assists, and two steals. Claire Russell recorded nine points and seven rebounds. Angelina Pelayo chipped in with nine points. Amirah “Tootie” Jordan recorded seven points, two rebounds, three assists, and six steals.

Brynli Pernell led Simon Kenton with 17 points including three three point baskets, three rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Anna Kelch added eight points including two three point baskets, and six rebounds. Haylie Webb recorded seven points, four rebounds, and three assists. Megan Gadzala chipped in with five points and three rebounds.
