George Rogers Clark coach Robbie Graham started the following lineup: 5-8 Sr. Makili Tabor, 5-8 So. Teigh Yeast, 5-10 Jr. Khania Jones, 5-5 Fr. Kennedy Stamper, and 5-7 Jr. Jailenn Green. Henry Clay coach Ashley Garrard countered with 5-9 Sr. Allison Stone, 5-8 Sr. Lydia Van Metre, 5-10 Sr. Elizabeth Nelson, 5-2 Jr. Ariyanna Sutton, and 5-6 Sr. Timarri Miller.
George Rogers Clark utilized their suffocating defense to pull away from Henry Clay in the second half to earn a 54-27 victory. George Rogers Clark shot 40.8% from the field including one of 18 from the three point line. The Lady Cardinals connected on 13 of 17 free throws, pulled down 31 rebounds, and scored 32 points off 36 Henry Clay turnovers. Henry Clay shot 25% from the field including one of eight from beyond the arc. The Lady Blue Devils connected on eight of 11 free throws, pulled down 28 rebounds, and scored nine points off 25 George Rogers Clark turnovers.
Kennedy Stamper led George Rogers Clark with 18 points, two rebounds, two assists, and four steals. Teigh Yeast added 13 points including four of four free throws, and five rebounds. Khania Jones recorded nine points, eight rebounds, and seven steals.
Allison Stone led Henry Clay with nine points, seven rebounds, and two steals. Timarri Miller added eight points including six of eight free throws, five rebounds, and two assists. Elizabeth Nelson recorded six points, two rebounds, and two steals.
