Mercy Academy Nick Cann started the following lineup: 5-8 So. Abbt Reitzel, 5-7 Jr. Addyson Becker, 5-9 Sr. Peyton Arnold, 5-5 Jr. Hadley O’Bryan, and 5-5 Jr. Olivia Pifer. Assumption coach Caryn Kovatch countered with 5-7 Sr. Taryn Morris, 5-6 Jr. Lauren Campisano, 5-10 Jr. Kyleigh Hall, 5-5 Sr. Zoe Thompson, and 5-6 Sr. Geriann Ackermann.

Assumption defeated Mercy Academy by the score of 72-43. Assumption shot 41.9% from the field including nine of 22 from the three point line. The Rockets connected on 11 of 13 free throws, pulled down 49 rebounds, and scored 11 points off 17 Mercy Academy turnovers. Mercy Academy shot 25% from the field including six of 28 from beyond the arc. The Jaguars connected on seven of 10 free throws, pulled down 34 rebounds, and scored 12 points off 18 Assumption turnovers.

Kyleigh Hall led Assumption with 16 points including six of six free throws, eight rebounds, and two steals. Taryn Morris added 16 points including three three point baskets, six rebounds, and three assists. Geriann Ackermann recorded eight points, eight rebounds, and three assists. Lauren Campisano chipped in with eight points, seven rebounds, three assists, and five steals. Zoe Thompson recorded five points, nine rebounds, and eight assists.

5-9 Sr. Kyra Freeman led Mercy Academy with seven points and six rebounds. Abby Reitzel added seven points, four rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Hadley O’Bryan recorded six points on two three point baskets, and three rebounds. 5-5 Fr. Carly Shephard chipped in with six points on two three point baskets. 5-5 Fr. Caitlin McCauley recorded six points, two rebounds, and two assists. Peyton Arnold added five points and eight rebounds.
