Owensboro Catholic coach Michael Robertson started the following lineup: 5-9 Sr. Jenna Krampe, 5-8 Sr. Hailee Johnson, 6-0 Sr. Delaney Cooper, 5-6 Jr. Karmin Riley, and 5-8 Jr. Aubrey Randolph. Ryle coach Katie Haitz countered with 6-0 Sr. Quinn Eubank, 5-10 So. Jaelyn Jones, 6-2 Sr. Sarah Baker, 5-4 Sr. Kassidy Peters, and 5-8 Sr. Gracie Carrigan.

Owensboro Catholic raced out to a 22-4 first quarter lead on their way to a 77-63 victory over Ryle. Owensboro Catholic shot 47.3% from the floor including eight of 18 from the three point line. The Lady Aces connected on 17 of 20 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 16 Ryle turnovers. Ryle shot 46.2% from the field including nine of 22 from beyond the arc. The Lady Raiders connected on six of seven free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored four points off nine Owensboro Catholic turnovers.

Karmin Riley led Owensboro Catholic with 23 points including three three point baskets, four of four free throws, three rebounds, four assists, and two steals. Jenna Krampe added 17 points and five rebounds. Delaney Cooper recorded 16 points including four three point baskets, 10 rebounds, and two assists. Aubrey Randolph chipped in with 11 points including four of four free throws, six rebounds, and three assists. Hailee Johnson added 10 points, three rebounds, and four assists.

Quinn Eubank led Ryle with 19 points including two three point baskets, seven rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Jaelyn Jones added 16 points including three three point baskets, and two assists. Gracie Carrigan recorded 13 points including three three point baskets, four assists, and two steals. Sarah Baker chipped in with 12 points, seven rebounds, and two assists.
