Frederick Douglass coach Daryl Moberly started the following lineup: 5-10 Fr. Jaylee Knowles, 5-9 Jr. Amayah Maxwell, 6-2 Sr. Ayanna-Sarai Darrington, 5-3 Jr. Kate Baker, and 5-7 Jr. Niah Rhodes. Sacred Heart Academy coach Donna Moir countered with 6-0 Sr. Abigail Wolff, 5-8 Sr. Claire Russell, 6-3 Sr. Angelina Pelayo, 5-4 Sr. Allea Holbrook, and 5-9 Sr. Emi-Lee Howe.

Sacred Heart Academy outscored Frederick Douglass 19-5 in the second quarter on their way to an 82-56 victory. Sacred Heart shot 51.5% from the field including seven of 20 from the three point line. The Valkyries connected on five of 11 free throws, pulled down 38 rebounds, and scored 26 points off 21 Frederick Douglass turnovers. Frederick Douglass shot 45.2% from the field including three of 13 from beyond the arc. The Lady Broncos connected on 15 of 21 free throws, pulled down 25 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 10 Sacred Heart Academy turnovers.

Angelina Pelay led Sacred Heart with 23 points on 10 of 11 from the field including one for one beyond the arc, three rebounds, and two assists. 5-11 Sr. Reagan Bender added 23 points including three three point baskets, two rebounds, and two steals. ZaKiyah Johnson recorded 12 points, seven rebounds, seven assists, two blocked shots, and two steals. 5-3 Fr. Amirah “Tootie” Jordan chipped in with six points, five assists, and five steals. 5-8 Jr, Caroline Osting added six points. Claire Russell recorded three points, nine rebounds, and four assists. Allea Holbrook chipped in with six points on two three point baskets.

Ayanna-Sarai Darrington led Frederick Douglass with 16 points and 14 rebounds, Jaylee Knowles added 15 points including seven of 11 free throws, and three rebounds. Niah Rhodes recorded 16 points including two three point baskets, two rebounds, and two steals.
