Newport defeated Sayre by the dcore of 45-42. Newport shot 50% from the field including two of eight from the three point line. The Wildcats connected on nine of 12 free throws, pulled down 20 rebounds, and committed 11 turnovers. Sayre shot 36.2% from the field including three of 16 from beyond the arc. The Spartans connected on five of seven free throws, pulled down 19 rebounds, and committed 10 turnovers.

6-2 Sr. Deshaun Jackson led Newport with 13 points, two rebounds, four assists, and four steals. 6-0 Sr. Jabari Covington added nine points including three of four free throws, four rebounds, and two assists. 6-8 Fr. Griffin Starks recorded six points and three rebounds. 6-1 So. Taylen Kinney chipped in with five points, three rebounds, and two blocked shots.

Danville Christian Academy defeated Breathitt County by the score of 56-34. Danville Christian shot 50.9% from the field including one of seven from the three point line. The Warriors connected on one of four free throws, pulled down 29 rebounds, and committed six turnovers. Breathitt County shot 30.2% from the field including two of 14 from beyond the arc. The Bobcats connected on six of 10 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and committed 12 turnovers.

Lyon County defeated Owensboro Catholic by the score of 72-54. Lyon County shot 39/7% from the field including nine of 30 frpm the three point line. The Lyons connected on 13 of 18 free throws, pulled down 42 rebounds, and committed 17 turnovers. Owensboro Catholic shot 44.9% from the field including five of 11 from beyond the arc. The Aces connected on five of nine free throws, pulled down 18 rebounds, and committed 12 turnovers.

Murray defeated Williamsburg by the score of 73-39. Murray shot 54.7% from the field including three of 12 from the three point line. The Yellow Jackets connected on four of six free throws, pulled down 39 rebounds, and committed 15 turnovers.

Pikeville defeated Caverna by the score of 43-33. Pikeviile led Caverna 28-27 after three quarters and pulled away for the victory in the final quarter. Pikeville shot 41% from the field including four of 13 from the three point line. The Panthers connected on seven of 12 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and committed 11 turnovers. Caverna shot 27% from the field including three of 10 from beyond the arc. The Colonels connected on 10 of 14 free throws, pulled down 14 rebounds, and committed 13 turnovers.

The Wildcats connected on seven of 15 free throws, pulled down 18 rebounds, and committed five turnovers. Danville Christian Academy shot 36.1% from the field including sevn of 24 from beyond the arc. The Warriors connected on one of two free throws, pulled down 15 rebounds, and committed 10 turnovers.

6-1 So. Taylen Kinney led Newport with 14 points including three of four free throws, three rebounds, and three assists. 6-7 So. James Turner added 12 points and seven rebounds. 6-8 Fr. Griffin Starks recorded seven points. 6-0 Sr. Jabari Covington chipped in with five points and seven rebounds.

Lyon County vs. Newport

Deshaun Jackson scored on a floater with 2.3 seconds remaining in the game to give Newport a 50-48 victory over Lyon County to advance to the championship game. Newport shot 44.2% from the field including two of seven from the three point line. The Wildcats connected on 10 of 15 free throws, pulled down 21 rebounds, and committed seven turnovers. Lyon County shot 50% from the field including eight of 14 from beyond the arc. The Lyons connected on four of seven free throws, pulled down 17 rebounds, and committed six turnovers.

The Eagles connected on three of nine free throws, pulled down 20 rebounds, and committed nine turnovers.

6-0 Sr. Jabari Covington led Newport with 22 points including eight of 11 free throws, and two rebounds. Taylen Kinney added 18 points including two three point baskets, eight of 11 free throws, and four rebounds. 6-7 So. James Turner recorded 16 points including eight of nine free throws, 13 rebounds, two blocked shots, and two steals. 6-2 Sr. Deshaun Jackson chipped in with nine points, three rebounds, and five assists.
