Model coach Scotty Sutton started the following lineup: 5-6 Jr. Rylli Hunt, 5-6 Sr. Maiya Bhandari, 5-6 So. Piper Moore, 5-1 Sr. Alana Newbill, and 5-3 Sr. Claire Garner. Madison Central coach Scott True countered with 5-7 Sr. Eden Carter, 5-7 Jr. Brooke Campbell, 5-9 Jr. Cameryn Ridderikhoff, 5-7 Jr. Brittany Campbell, and 5-6 Jr. Nataya Strader.
Madison Central raced out to a 22-5 first quarter lead on their way to a 61-16 victory over Model. Madison Central shot 43.4% from the field including eight of 29 from the three point line. The Lady Indians connected on seven of 10 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 35 points off 27 Model turnovers. Model shot 23.5% from the field including zero of one from beyond the arc. The Lady Patriots connected on eight of 14 free throws, pulled down 21 rebounds, and scored six points off four Madison Central turnovers.
Cameryn Ridderikhoff led Madison Central with 17 points including two three point baskets and two rebounds in 10 minutes of playing time. Nataya Strader added 12 points and three rebounds. Eden Carter recorded 10 points, four rebounds, and six steals. Brittany Campbell dished out six assists and Brooke Campbell recorded five points, four rebounds, and two assists. 5-6 So. Skylar Collingsworth recorded nine points on three three point baskets and three rebounds. 5-7 So. Hayden Whitaker added five points including three of four free throws and five rebounds.

Madison Central outscored Model 23-4 in the second quarter on their way to an 86-41 victory. Madison Central shot 47.7% from the field including 13 of 26 from the three point line. The Indians connected on 11 of 14 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored 42 points off 28 Model turnovers. Model shot 47.1% from the field including two of nine from beyond the arc. The Patriots connected on seven of 12 free throws, pulled down 27 rebounds, and scored two points off seven Madison Central turnovers.
Luke Asher led a balanced Madison Central scoring attack with 13 points, eight rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Cody Morrison added 12 points including five of six free throws, two rebounds, three assists, and three steals. Landon Ray recorded 11 points including three three point baskets, two rebounds, two assists, and seven steals. Will Richardson chipped in with nine points, two rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Eli Steele recorded nine points, four rebounds, and two steals. 5-9 So. Cam Steele added nine points on three three point baskets. 5-8 Fr. Ricky Goatley chipped in with eight points including two three point baskets, four assists, and two steals.
Dylan Crockett led Model with 20 points and four rebounds. Harrison Parkhurst added seven points and two rebounds. Riley Mollette recorded four points, seven rebounds, and four blocked shots.

Berea vs. Madison Southern (Girls)

Madison Southern trailed Berea 15-13 at halftime but outscored the Lady Pirates 21-13 in the third quarter on their way to a hard fought 54-45 victory. There were four ties and three lead changes in this game. Madison Southern shot 45,2% from the field including eight of 13 from the three point line. The Lady Eagles connected on 18 of 20 free throws, pulled down 20 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 11 Berea turnovers. Berea shot 50% from the field including 11 of 22 from beyond the arc. The Lady Pirates connected on two of four free throws, pulled down 15 rebounds, and scored six points off eight Madison Southern turnovers.
Hadley French led Madison Southern with 23 points including three three point baskets, 12 of 12 free throws, and two assists. Bailey Hensley added nine points, six rebounds, and two assists. Ashlan Estep recorded five points, seven rebounds, three assists, and three steals.
Sophie Brewer led Berea with 19 points including five three point baskets and three rebounds. Miranda Thacker added 12 points on four three point baskets. Abigail Beard recorded seven points, three rebounds, four assists, and two steals. Maddy King dished out seven assists. Kadence Stepp chipped in with four points and six rebounds.

Madison Central raced out to a 17-2 lead and withstood a determined Madison Southern rally to earn a 56-49 victory. Madison Central shot the ball extremely well tonight, hit their free throws down the stretch, and Madison Southern was hampered by early foul problems to Ashlan Estep. Madison Central shot 50% from the field including eight of 15 from the three point line. The Lady Indians connected on 14 of 23 free throws, pulled down 21 rebounds, and scored 22 points off 17 Madison Southern turnovers. Madison Southern shot 45.5% from the field including three of 10 from beyond the arc. The Lady Eagles connected on 16 of 24 free throws, pulled down 23 rebounds, and scored 13 points off 16 Madison Central turnovers.
Nataya Strader led Madison Central with 17 points including two three point baskets, four rebounds, and three steals. Brittany Campbell added 17 points including three three point baskets, eight of eight free throws, two rebounds, and seven assists. Cameryn Ridderikhoff recorded 14 points including three three point baskets, six rebounds, and three steals. Eden Carter chipped in with six points, four rebounds, and four steals.
Laci Sandlin led Madison Southern with 19 points on six of seven from the field, seven of 10 free throws, 12 rebounds, and two steals. Hadley French added 16 points including two three point baskets and four of six free throws. Bailey Hensley recorded nine points, two rebounds, and two blocked shots.
