Paul Laurence Dunbar vs. Lexington Christian Academy (Girls)

Paul Laurence Dunbar coach Erik Daniels started the following lineup: 5-10 Fr. Ellie Lavey, 5-7 Sr. Justice Biggerstaff, 6-0 So. Ava Rankin, 5-4 Fr. Layla Flynn, and 5-5 Fr. Eriyaune Daniels. Lexington Christian Academy coach Tim Bradshaw countered with 5-6 Jr. Ella Gabbert, 5-6 So. Jentry Bertram, 5-8 8th Grade Koko Castle, 5-6 Jr. Chapel Brown, and 5-7 Jr. Claire Roberts.

Paul Laurence Dunbar defeated Lexington Christian Academy by the score of 52-43. Paul Laurence Dunbar shot 37.2% from the field including six of 15 from the three point line. The Lady Bulldogs connected on 14 of 25 free throws, pulled down 30 rebounds, and scored eight points off 13 LCA turnovers. Lexington Christian Academy shot 24% from the field including five of 22 from beyond the arc. The Lady Eagles connected on 14 of 23 free throws, pulled down 43 rebounds, and scored seven points off eight Dunbar turnovers.

Layla Flynn led Paul Laurence Dunbar with 15 points including two three point baskets, nine rebounds, eight assists, and four steals. Ellie Lavey added 12 points including two three point baskets, six of seven free throws, and three rebounds. Justice Biggerstaff recorded 11 points and six rebounds. Eriyaune Daniels chipped in with 11 points including two three point baskets, three rebounds, and two assists.

5-9 Jr. Sophia Pridemore led Lexington Christian Academy with 13 points and 12 rebounds. Koko Castle added 11 points including five of six free throws. Chapel Brown recorded eight points including two three point baskets, and six rebounds. Claire Roberts chipped in with eight points including two three point baskets and two rebounds.

Tates Creek vs. Lafayette (Boys)

Tates Creek coach Jarrod Gay Sr. started the following lineup: 6-0 Fr. Tom Haubenreich, 6-0 So. Josh Pinkleton, 6-2 Jr. Micah Soules, 5-9 Jr. Dawson Garth, and 5-10 So. Stephen Franklin. Lafayette coach Vince Sanford countered with 6-4 Jr. Eli Steele, 6-0 Jr. Eli Thomas, 6-5 So. Tyler Hunt, 5-6 Sr. Yashiro Hurst, and 5-10 So. KJ Jones.

Lafayette led 29-28 at halftime and outscored Tates Creek 24-16 in the third quarter to pull away for a 69-61 victory. There were 11 lead changes and five ties in this game. Lafayette shot 66.7% from the field including six of eight from the three point line. The Generals connected on 23 of 30 free throws, pulled down 24 rebounds, and scored eight points off six Tates Creek turnovers. Tates Creek shot 41.3% from the field including three of 15 from beyond the arc. The Commodores connected on 20 of 26 free throws, pulled down 16 rebounds, and scored 15 points off 12 Lafayette turnovers.

Tyler Hunt led Lafayette with 14 points including six of six free throws, 11 rebounds, and four blocked shots. Yashiro Hurst added 13 points including four of six free throws, two rebounds, six assists, and two steals. KJ Jones recorded 13 points on four of four from the field, five of six from the free throw line and three steals. Eli Thomas chipped in with 11 points including two three point baskets, five of six free throws, and three assists. Eli Steele added eight points and six rebounds.

Dawson Garth led Tates Creek with 18 points including six of 10 free throws. Stephen Franklin added 13 points including six of six free throws, two rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Josh Pinkleton recorded 11 points and three rebounds. Tom Haubenreich chipped in with eight points including two three point baskets and three assists.

Tyler Doyle led Lexington Catholic with 23 points, five rebounds, and two assists. Miller Williams added 13 points including two three point baskets, five of eight free throws, 12 rebounds, three assists, and two steals. John Reinhart recorded 13 points including three three point baskets. Rowan Williams chipped in with 10 points, seven rebounds, and three assists. 6-0 Sr. Sam Smith added eight points including three of four free throws, two rebounds, two assists, and two steals.

6-0 Sr. Peyton Prichard led Lafayette with 10 points including three three point baskets. Eli Steele added eight points, four rebounds, and two assists. Eli Thomas recorded seven points and five assists. Yashiro Hurst chipped in with seven points.

Tates Creek coach Jana Costner countered with 5-9 Sr. Ashton Harris, 5-8 Sr. Chloe Byrd, 5-9 7th Grade Isabelle Ellison, 5-5 Fr. Kaleigh Potts, and 5-6 Jr. Miracle Morbley.

Tates Creek rallied in the final quarter to earn a 53-49 come-from-behind victory over Lexington Catholic. There were seven lead changes and 10 ties in this game. Tates Creek shot 33.3% from the field including four of 18 from the three point line. The Lady Commodores connected on 15 of 22 free throws, pulled down 33 rebounds, and scored 17 points off 18 Lexington Catholic turnovers. Lexington Catholic shot 39.5% from the field including zero of 11 from beyond the arc. The Lady Knights connected on 15 of 25 free throws, pulled down 35 rebounds, and scored seven points off 15 Tates Creek turnovers.

Miracle Morbley led Tates Creek with 16 points including eight of nine free throws, five rebounds, and two steals. Ashton Harris added 13 points including seven of 10 free throws, five rebounds, three assists, and two blocked shots. Kaleigh Potts recorded 12 points including two three point baskets, five rebounds, three assists, and four steals. Isabelle Ellison chipped in with seven points.

5-8 Jr. Alivia Morris led Lexington Catholic with 25 points including nine of 10 free throws and 15 rebounds before fouling out late in the game. 5-9 So. Payton Avilez added five points and three rebounds. Lydia Kennedy recorded four points, four rebounds, and three assists.

Kaleigh Potts led Tates Creek with 23 points including three three point baskets, four of seven free throws, and five rebounds. Ashton Harris added 13 points, seven rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Isabelle Ellison recorded seven points. 5-4 Fr. Alexis Bazzell chipped in with six points on two three point baskets and four rebounds.

John Reinhart added 14 points including two three point baskets, six of six free throws, two rebounds, and two steals. Miller Williams recorded six points and 10 rebounds. Tyler Doyle chipped in with seven points, five assists, and two steals.

Saxton Howard led Lexington Christian Academy with 18 points including four three point baskets. Hagan Preston added 11 points including three three point baskets, two rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Kenyatte Hardge recorded five points and nine rebounds.
