South Oldham utilized a punishing ground attack to earn a 23-14 victory over North Oldham tonight. South Oldham recorded 372 yards of total offense and lost a fumble. North Oldham recorded 255 yards of total offense and had one pass intercepted.
Julian Miles led South Oldham’s ground game with 189 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries. Evan Hickerson carried the ball 11 times for 76 yards. Luke Hatcher recorded 40 yards on eight carries. Ethan Arnold chipped in with 26 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries. Juelz Davila carried the ball twice for four yards and a touchdown. Ethan Arnold completed five of six passes for 35 yards. Kenji Kordes caught one pass for 18 yards. Julian Miles added two receptions for nine yards. Evan Hickerson recorded one reception for seven yards. Nate McCleese led the defense with four solo and eight assisted tackles. Davis Larsen added five solo and five assisted tackles. Parker Ellis recorded three solo and four assisted tackles and intercepted a pass he returned 12 yards. Adam Kern added three solo and three assisted tackles.
Kingston Dugan led North Oldham’s ground game with 68 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries. Colin Daniels carried the ball seven times for 24 yards. Colin Daniels completed 16 of 31 passes for 157 yards and one touchdown with one interception. Gray Schmittel caught 10 passes for 110 yards and a touchdown. Lucas Tompkins added three receptions for 23 yards. Zachary Mortenson led the defense with sevn solo and three assisted tackles. Lucas Tompkins added six solo and two assisted tackles. Joel Fadel and Andrew Paul each recorded six solo and one assisted tackles. Sam Vuolo chipped in with five solo and one assisted tackles. Andrew Davis added five solo tackles. Jack Smith recovered a fumble.
