Lexington Christian Academy defeated Washington County by the score of 52-7. Lexington Christian Academy recorded 20 first downs and 494 yards of total offense. The Eagles were penalized seven times for 85 yards. Washington County recorded seven first downs and 184 yards of total offense. They were penalized eight times for 67 yards and had a pass intercepted.
Bennett Gudalis led Lexington Christian Academy’s ground game with 80 yards and a touchdown on seven carries. Mac Darland carried the ball seven times for 58 yards and a touchdown. Saxton Howard added 51 yards and a touchdown on three carries. Paxton Gray recorded 50 yards and a touchdown on three carries. Brady Couch carried the ball once for 18 yards. Carter Penix added a touchdown on the ground. Saxton Howard completed nine of 12 passes for 219 yards and two touchdowns. Carter Penix completed his only pass for 13 yards. Sam Pearson caught five passes for 147 yards and two touchdowns. Conrad Hart caught two passes for 36 yards. Tyler King added one reception for 27 yards. Hunter Adams caught one pass for 16 yards. Jackson Dillow returned two punts for 43 yards including a 38 yard return for a touchdown. Tyler Hunt returned one punt for 11 yards. Sam Pearson returned one kickoff for 46 yards. Hunter Adams led the defense with four solo and three assisted tackles. Thomas Sizemore added three solo and three assisted tackles. Nash Whelan recorded two solo and five assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a five yard loss. Jamey Patterson chipped in with two solo and three assisted tackles with one of his tackles resulting in a three yard loss. Jackson Dillow intercepted a pass.
Jakiston Thompson led Washington County’s ground game with 39 yards on eight carries. JT Smith added 28 yards and a touchdown on three carries. Kymani Reardon recorded 16 yards on three carries. JT Smith completed six of 15 passes for 94 yards with one interception. Camden Abell caught three passes for 57 yards. Isaiah Mattingly added three receptions for 37 yards. Jakiston Thompson returned two kickoffs for 23 yards with a long return of 15 yards. Isaiah Mattingly returned two kickoffs for 13 yards with a long return of 12 yards. Jakiston Thompson led the defense with four solo and three assisted tackles. Conner Gabhart added two solo and seven assisted tackles. Tobia Railey recorded one solo and five assisted tackles.
